Square peg, square hole?

When I ask my clients what process they use to hire someone I usually get this same statement; we have none.  Or, they will say they hire when they need someone and other statements that cost them dearly down the road.

First things first.

Every business owner would give anything to have a stock pile of top players.  How do you source those?  What kind of infrastructure builds those?  How do you keep the momentum going and getting great talent?

In this blog I am putting down some basic tips on the subject I hope you'll find interesting and helpful.

Did you know:

  • It takes 3 X's a person's salary to replace them once they leave
  • 67-72% of your employees are either disgruntled, disengaged, discouraged and discouraging others
  • Most companies do not have a hiring process
  • Good number of employees leave within 6mos not because of pay but because of bad fit, no direction, no clear job description
I will continue this blog where I will give you more stats and then some good tips on how to reverse the trend.

Until then,
